Amazon.in has launched ‘Pay with Amazon’, a payment service for small and medium sized sellers across the country, where customers can use the information stored in their Amazon account to make purchases on seller sites without having to create an account all over again or filling payment and shipping details.

Through an easy setup process and integrated order management and payment option, ‘Pay with Amazon’ helps sellers completely outsource their financial transactional infrastructure, allowing them to focus on the core business of sourcing and inventory management. ‘Pay with Amazon’ is mobile optimized across all operating systems including Android, iOS, and Windows.

‘Pay with Amazon’ offers a convenient, easy, and trusted platform to its customers for purchases. By clicking on ‘Pay with Amazon’ button on the checkout page, customers can shop on the seller websites using Amazon’s trusted checkout process, secure in the knowledge that their purchase is protected by Amazon’s buyer protection program.

The ‘Pay with Amazon’ site went live with Fommy.co.in and Shopyourworld.com, and already has signups for integration with sites like Babyoye.com, Webmallindia.com, etc.

The General Manager of Payments, Amazon said, “By launching ‘Pay with Amazon’, we aim to provide a trusted payment bridge between customers and sellers and further aid and support the growth and integration of small and medium businesses in the new digital economy. This service will expand the market by providing small sellers with efficient tools to drive conversions and also help customers to shop with confidence.”

“We will continue to invest in product experiences that help customers and sellers transact seamlessly across all devices,” he added.

Consumers on Amazon.in and Amazon’s mobile shopping application can shop anywhere with ease and confidence from over 18 million products across a broad range of departments including men’s, women’s & kid’s wear.

The Amazon.in marketplace is operated by Amazon Seller Services Private Ltd, an affiliate of Amazon.com, Inc. All consumers on Amazon.in benefit from a safe and secure ordering experience, convenient electronic payments, cash on delivery, no-risk hassle-free returns policy, Amazon’s 24x7 customer service support, and a globally recognized and comprehensive 100% purchase protection.
