International sportswear manufacturer, Nike, has appointed Tom Peddie as the new GM and VP of emerging markets geography.
Peddie is currently VP of global sales and is a 24-year Nike veteran. Trevor Edwards, president of Nike said, “Tom has been instrumental in driving Nike’s holistic marketplace management strategy worldwide. We are looking forward to his leadership in the emerging markets as we continue to elevate the brand, build strong consumer connections, and drive premium marketplace executions.”
Peddie will report to Elliott Hill, president of geographies and sales for Nike. He will replace Roland Wolfram who, after 16 years with Nike, has decided to retire from the company on January 9, 2015.
