The online designerwear store My-wardrobe.com has shut down its e-commerce business and sold its domain name to the London-based high-fashion web retailer Net-a-Porter.

The shopping destination, which was struggling for more than a year, went into administration in November, 2013. Later followed by the departure of its chief executive David Worby and trading director Joanna Stevenson, the company was acquired by the Growth Capital Acquisitions.
The multiple award-winning website, which used to operate through offices in London, New York, Sydney, Dubai and Oslo, was offering huge discounts on its entire product folio in the last few weeks.
Originally launched in 2006, My-wardrobe still runs a brick-and-mortar store at Whiteley’s Shopping Centre, London.
Founded in 2000, Net-a-Porter specializes in a range of latest women’s designer clothing and accessories from over 350 international labels. (PB)
