Puma has announced changes in its global strategic management team and has promoted Arne Fruendt to the position of global director retail and ecommerce.

Arne Freundt will take over the responsibilities for the strategically important businesses of retail and Puma’s own ecommerce with immediate effect. Arne Freundt, who holds a degree in economics, has successfully led Puma’s global strategy department for the last 3.5 years and was a key driver for Puma’s repositioning. In his new role, he will continue to directly report to the CEO of the company, Bjørn Gulden, Puma said in a statement.

Following Arne’s promotion, Nina Graf-Vlachy takes over the leadership of Puma’s strategic management as the new head of global strategy with immediate effect. Nina Graf-Vlachy, who holds a PhD in chemistry, joined Puma’s global strategy team in 2013, after having worked as a project manager at the Boston Consulting Group.

Puma is one of the world’s leading sports brands, designing, developing, selling and marketing footwear, apparel, and accessories. The Puma Group owns the brands Puma, Cobra Golf, Tretorn, Dobotex, and Brandon. The company distributes its products in more than 120 countries and employs more than 10,000 people worldwide. (GK)
