G&K partners Dickies to offer cooler performance shirts

G&K Services is now offering Dickies WorkTech Premium Performance Shirts designed with AeroCool performance mesh, which provides ventilation in key areas, ideal for people who work in high heat.

Created using body heat mapping technology, the WorkTech Premium Performance Shirts maximise cooling under the arms and across the back by bringing in air and moving heat away from the body.

The flexible, moisture-wicking fabric ensures long-lasting comfort and fit and G&K is now offering these shirts in black, navy and light blue colors in both long sleeve and short sleeve versions.

“Our strong relationship with Dickies allows us to fulfill a market need for a more breathable and comfortable work shirt,” said Dave Euson, G&K’s vice president of marketing and sales.

He added, “We are excited to be the first uniform rental company to offer this innovative product for our customers.”

“This shirt was developed with superior ventilation technology to help regulate body temperature,” said Brian Sheedy, Dickies vice president, merchandising and design.

He too added, “Workers demand performance and they need a product that helps them stay cooler, drier, and more comfortable on the job.”
