With only a few days to go for the eighth edition of the Indian Premier League, a leading men’s fashion brand has now joined the cricket bandwagon. The upcoming edition will see Jack & Jones associate itself with the game as the lifestyle sponsor of Team Mumbai Indians. The brand will have its presence through a logo on the back of the cap of all team members of the Mumbai Indians team. Mumbai Indians won the IPL in 2013 and two Champions League titles in 2011 and 2013 and is considered a hot property for sponsors.

Commenting on the association, Vineet Gautam, country head, Bestseller India, said, “This sponsorship is a very important development for Jack & Jones and we are really excited about associating with the Mumbai Indians. In our opinion, partnering with the IPL is a great way to familiarise our brand with the youth, thanks to the sheer volume of cricket supporters that the platform enjoys across India. This tie up is our way of demonstrating support to one of the best teams of the IPL and we are positive that this move will ensure a good recall for the brand.”

Mumbai Indians spokesperson said, “Mumbai Indians is delighted to have Jack & Jones as its partner in the team’s journey for IPL season 8. The franchise is today highly regarded as a sports brand with high values and ethos, and continues to remain the most preferred property in the region for international as well Indian brands to partner with.”

Jack & Jones is also planning a comprehensive and exciting activation for various cricket fans in the country as a part of this partnership.
