Galleria Intima sees record number of exhibitors this year

With still two months to go, the next edition of intimate apparel show, Galleria Intima, which runs from August 26-27, 2015 has broken previous records with over 80 exhibitors signing up till now.

Organised by the Intimate Apparel Association of India (IAAI), Galleria Intima which is being held in New Delhi, brings together leading players from the intimate wear industry, Indian as well as international.

According to an IAAI press release, the highlight of this show would be a host of OEMs, machinery and packaging companies partaking this year, making it a one-stop-shop destination for intimate wear manufacturing.

“More than 15 Chinese companies too shall be seen at the show which according to IAAI is a feather in the cap, considering that Chinese companies were not taking India seriously in the intimate wear category.

Through Galleria Intima 2015, IAAI aims to facilitate greater and meaningful collaborations across all the categories of the intimate apparel sector.

With Galleria Intima, IAAI sees itself as taking on a more decisive role in being the impetus that makes the manufacturing dream in the intimate wear market a reality.

Besides bringing together brands, manufacturers, suppliers and industry representatives, the show also attracts key decision-makers from across all segments of the industry thus facilitating knowledge and experience sharing.

“Through a series of workshops and seminars, participants and visitors at Galleria Intima 2015 shall get an opportunity to learn about various technological advancements in intimate wear,” IAAI informed.

Besides, there will also be a preview of international trends and changing fashion dynamics being witnessed in the category.

Another highlight of the event, according to the organiser, is the facilitation of trade talks and enquiries as well business meetings between visitors and buyers.

“These pre-planned meetings are highly subject-centric and are aimed at industry associates who are short of time but want to network with the big players of the intimate wear world,” it added.

The trade show’s list of highlights also includes the showcase of the best in manufacturing and technological skills with exceptional and world-class innovations and machineries on display.

Yusuf Dohadwala, CEO of IAAI states, “The objective of the trade show is to showcase the best that the country has got to offer while enabling global suppliers to gain a foothold in the Indian intimate wear market.”

“Galleria Intima provides the industry stakeholders, manufacturers, decision-makers and big-wigs a common platform to meet and network all under one roof,” he observed. (AR)
