Indian lingerie and sleepwear brand Clovia has named a new leadership team that it said will lead the company into its next stage of growth.

“Pankaj Vermani has joined Clovia as its chief executive officer, while Aditya Chaturvedi has been named as chief technology officer,” a Clovia press release informed.

Clovia’s current CEO & founder Neha Kant will continue to sit on the company’s board and take on the role of chief revenue officer and will be responsible for sales and operations.

In his role as CEO, Pankaj will overview the strategic direction, product innovation and expansion of Clovia and will lead the company’s effort to aggressively grow in local & overseas markets.

A graduate from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, Pankaj is a serial entrepreneur and in the past has co-founded and grown companies that have gone through successful acquisitions.

In his previous role, he was heading Mountain Apollo India that incubated Clovia a couple of years ago and has been closely involved with the business since its inception.

Aditya Chaturvedi will be responsible to strategically grow and manage the technology support systems as the company scales its operations and increases its head count.

He will oversee the delivery of an excellent customer experience on the Clovia website and will be responsible for all reporting systems, processes and warehouse system integrations and automation.

Chaturvedi is a startup specialist with consistent track record of setting up and growing business operations and has been part of core teams of multiple startups like hCentive, GlobalLogic & 3CLogic.

“We have seen unprecedented growth in the lingerie and sleepwear segment in the last couple of years and our brand has been growing at almost 100 per cent every quarter, over the last year”, said Neha Kant.

“With Pankaj and Aditya focused on growing our brand and perfecting our core product offerings, we are reaffirming our commitment to building the world’s number-1 lingerie and sleepwear brand in India,” she added.

Clovia is a premier lingerie brand backed by Ivy Cap Ventures, Zurich-based Mountain Partners AG and a group of private investors.

The company designs, manufactures and distributes premium fashion lingerie, innerwear, nightwear and shapewear and is available online.

At Clovia, highly skilled designers, fashion experts create exquisite, playful and designer inner wear ranging from bras, briefs, shape-wear to nightwear.

Sophisticated, sharp and suave, contrasted with flirty, fun and bold prints, and in keeping with international designs and styles, Clovia plans to redefine the Indian lingerie market. (AR)
