GAS rides piggyback with Honda in India

Premium Italian denim brand GAS partnered with Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. (HMSI) for Revfest where 5 new motorcycles including Honda’s flagship “Make in India” model CBR 650F unleashed the next revolution in fun motorcycling in India, Honda said in a press release.

This launch partnership between GAS and Honda is just the first step to a long term relationship in India. GAS will retail a special limited edition capsule of GAS-Honda motorbiking clothing and accessories at the top 14 select Honda flagship stores. All GAS stand-alone store will also have a dedicated area to display the limited edition Honda-GAS biking capsule collection.

The launch was held simultaneously on August 4 across three cities - Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore with GAS as the official style partner for the hosted fashion shows to showcase their Autumn/Winter 2015-16 collection.

The Delhi edition, held at the Pragati Maidan, saw Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar and Tapsee Pannu at the event.

The event extended the international association between GAS and Honda which dates back to more than 15 years. Top riders such as Mick Doohan, Nicky Hayden, Casey Stoner and Marc Marquez have created MotoGP history on Honda motorcycles with GAS on their sleeves.

GAS is premium aspirational denim lifestyle brand for both men and women. The element around which quality products revolve, products that meet the needs of the intelligent, aware, international, cosmopolitan consumer. Contemporary clothing that goes beyond the fashions of the moment to express the wearer’s individuality on all occasions.

GAS has been present in India since 2007 in partnership with Reliance Brands Limited. The distribution network comprises 65 points of sale, including flagship stores in Delhi and Mumbai. Gas is also sold through third party e commerce platforms such as Myntra, Jabong , Amazon and Flipkart.
