Arvind Lifestyle Brands Limited will partner Shoppers Stop for the launch of the shop-in-shop format of The Children's Place, it said in a press release.

India's first shop-in-shop format of America's largest kids' specialty retailer will be located at the Shoppers Stop store in Juhu, Mumbai. The Children's Place store in Juhu will retail kids clothing and accessories for girls and boys in the 0-14 years age group.

The Children's Place is the largest pure-play children's specialty apparel retailer in North America, offering fashionable, high quality and head to toe outfits at great prices. Internationally, The Children's Place has rapidly grown to 79 stores in 10 countries and has now launched in India with their first standalone Arvind-operated store at Orion Mall, Bangalore last week.

Commenting on the launch, Adrienne Gernand, Sr. Vice President International, The Children's Place, Inc. stated “We are excited about the great potential for The Children's Place in India and are keen to maximize our market share using a multichannel approach. The shop-in-shop is a global first for us and is an important part of our expansion strategy to support our standalone store presence. With Arvind and Shoppers Stop as our partners in India, we are confident that The Children's Place will scale new heights in the kids' fashion industry in the country.”

“We are extremely pleased with our collaboration with Shoppers Stop and for the first time in India we are bringing The Children's Place inside a department store. The Children's Place will offer Shoppers Stop consumers the best of America's kids' fashion. Parallely, The Children's Place will get an ideal platform and ready consumer base of Shoppers Stop,” said J. Suresh, Managing Director & CEO, Arvind Lifestyle Brands Ltd. (SH)
