Apranga retail chain turnover goes up

In 2007 Apranga Group has implemented the biggest expansion program in company's history by the area of opened stores, and by amount of investments. Apranga Group has opened, or reconstructed even 31 stores, investing LTL 39 million (EUR 11.9 million).

Among the most important projects in 2007 were 3100 sq. m. size City department store in Vilnius, 4 Zara stores, 5 Bershka stores, 3 Pull and Bear stores, 3 Mexx stores, 3 Apranga stores, 3 Aprangos Galerija stores, Hugo Boss, Mango and others.

Even 11 stores were opened in foreign markets: 9 in Latvia and 2 in Estonia. The trading area possessed by Apranga Group has increased from 38.5 to 54 thousand sq. m. during 2007.

Continuous growth of the apparel consumption, aggressive expansion in 2007, increasing stores' operating indicators have set excellent preconditions for high turnover growth rate in 2008.

Apranga Group is owned by the concern MG Baltic.
