In Fall/Winter 2008/09 FALKE ERGONOMIC SPORTS SOCKS (ESS) feature a broad range of innovations focusing on Skiing, Running and Trekking as well as the new Yoga/Fitness product range.

The cushioning and stability function, enhanced and customised for sportsmen is in the limelight of all innovative and further developments and optimises the socks as a medium between foot and shoe. The ESS Socks design has also been improved. The special sock functions have been emphasised in colour to ensure a high-quality and dynamic look.

New ERGONOMIC SPORTS SOCKS in detail:
RU Running
After the successful launch of RU 3 Cushion in Spring/Summer 2008 for running novices and motion control runners, FALKE now offers the RU 4 Pronation specially formulated for pronation runners with increased cushioning and stability demand.

TR Trail Running
Optimal support in the shoe is particularly vital for running off the beaten track. The new ESS Socks for trail running have been specifically designed for running shoes featuring a more stable sole. The thicker TR 3 and the thinner TR 4 models actively prevent bending or slipping on uneven grounds thanks to the customised cushioning of the trail running shoes in the ball and toe zone. Both models have a reinforced anti-slip protector at the cuff with an integrated “supporter” that provides a “proprioceptive effect” renowned in running sports.

TK Trekking
With the TK 5 Ultra Light perfectly attuned to trekking shoes, FALKE complements its high tech sock range by the very thin functional sock for easy hillwalks. The TK 5 Ultra Light is made of finest merino wool and incorporates an exterior instep cushioning as well as a comfortable short shaft. The integrated mesh structures ensure optimal climate management and feature a sporty, dynamic design.
