Michael G. Carlton, president of Crescent State Bank, a wholly owned subsidiary of Crescent Financial Corporation, has announced that the bank has partnered with Dress for Success Triangle NC. Dress for Success Triangle NC is an affiliate of the international not-for-profit organization that provides interview suits, confidence boosts and career development to women in need. S.O.S. Week is an annual promotion that coincides with Women's History Month and is designed to raise awareness and funds for Dress for Success affiliates around the world.

During the week of March 31 – April 5, Crescent State Bank will serve as a drop off location for donations of new or nearly new interview suits or professional attire to help local, low-income women enter the workforce. The bank will be accepting donations at the offices in Apex, Cary, Garner, Holly Springs, Knightdale and Raleigh.

This annual call-to-action campaign was formerly known as “Clean Your Closet Week.” The new focus on “sending one suit” symbolizes the organization's need to collect only garments appropriate for job interviews.
