Major success of Chinese apparel brand Trand after employing French and Italian designers have inspired other enterprises to follow suit.
A large number of domestic garment enterprises have started employing foreign designers and marketing people with the hope of making their brands popular internationally.
For instance Septwolves Group recently employed a French designer for setting up an entirely new brand. The company's only intention was to challenge popular giants like Boss, Zegna, Brooks Brothers, Armani and Burburry.
Chinese consumers are overwhelmed at this proposition as this rapidly spreading trend is likely to make the domestic industry more fashionable. However, their only concern is that such head start policies would invariably lead to increase in the prices of Chinese clothes.
Infact, experts believe that if prices of Chinese brands stand at par with the international popular ones, over 90 percent of the consumers are bound to show inclination towards the latter.
