Lining, Nike & Adidas in rat-race to Beijing Olympic Games zenith

So far, nearly all athletes, drill masters, missionaries, volunteers, reporters and other people related to 2008 Beijing Olympic Games have been roped in by either one of the 3 big sports brands, namely, Lining, Nike and Adidas.

Recent statistics show that the production value of Chinese sports industry will undoubtedly reach 28.12 billion yuan by 2010. If Adidas fails to quickly occupy Chinese market, it will definitely fall behind in the competitive race.

The President of Adidas has expressed his hopes to make Adidas the top brand in Chinese market by 2008. Investing 300 million yuan to become one of the partners of 2008 Beijing Olympic Game has been the first step in this direction.

Lining used another strategy by signing an agreement with one of the key media companies, so that all its reporters and correspondents flaunt Lining outfits on TV in 2007 and 2008.

For 2008 Beijing Olympic Game, Nike is concentrating on athletes and equipments in competition, especially the most promising contestants for gold. Since 1982, this sports magnate has cooperated with General Administration of Sport of China, sponsoring 24 Chinese sports associations in total.
