Russell-Newman announced it has acquired KN Karen Neuburge, a lifestyle brand with comfort-focused home/apparel/lifestyle products.

KN Karen Neuburger's legacy and rich heritage of creating livable luxury products for all areas of the home including sleepwear to its signature soft socks, was a great appeal to Russell-Newman.

The acquisition accelerates Russell-Newman's position in the intimate apparel sector. Announcement reaffirms Russell-Newman as one of the largest intimate apparel companies in the world, as well as its further presence in the brand acquisition category, supplying most major retailers and sourcing its products from a developed supplier network in over 20 countries.

Russell-Newman creates, produces, sells and distributes products in multiple retail channels for brands such as: Cypress sleepwear, and robes for women, St. Eve daywear and sleepwear, Baby Gro for newborn sleepwear in both boys and girls, St. Eve Sleepwear for Boys and Girls, Carol Malony bras, daywear and sleepwear, Tommy Hilfiger sleepwear & robes for women, and Laura Ashley sleepwear and robes.

The integration with KN Karen Neuburger will greatly extend the commercial appeal of Russell-Newman's offerings and improve its value proposition with the addition of the KN Karen Neuburger sleepwear/sportswear/intimates/home categories. KN Karen Neuburger will also gain new distribution through Russell-Newman's multiple channels.

"Acquisition reaffirms Russell-Newman's position as the leader in intimate apparel. Supporting our overall growth plan, acquiring KN Karen Neuburger amplifies our marketshare and opens new retail doors for us," said Jim Martino, Chairman, Russell-Newman.

"The KN Karen Neuburger team knows their customers well and will be instrumental in the continued success of the operation and growing the business.

We are highly confident in the outstanding industry, product, selling, and management skills of the entire KN Karen Neuburger team."

"We are pleased to merge with Russell-Newman," said Dustin Eber, President, KN Karen Neuburger. "Russell-Newman's culture and business model complements KN Karen Neuburger by sharing the same ideals that we have had since our foundation comfort, luxury and trend.

We are tremendously excited to work with Russell-Newman to continue to deliver the best lifestyle-inspired products possible."

"This acquisition evidences Russell-Newman's proactive commitment to acquire leading intimate apparel brands and to build a large, global business," said Eric Hamburg, President of Industrial Renaissance.

Dustin Eber will resume his role as President of the KN Karen Neuburger brand. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Russell-Newman is headquartered in Denton, TX.
