Linebacker launches New Training Camp Shirts at Bob's Stores

Bob's Stores is pleased to announce the release of Patriots linebacker Adalius Thomas' new 2008 "Humble Pie" apparel, beginning with the 2008 training camp t-shirt.

The shirts will be available after August 1, exclusively at Bob's Stores locations in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire and select stores in Connecticut, as well as online at www.adalius96.com. Thomas' proceeds from the sale of the t-shirts will benefit the Adalius Thomas S.L.A.S.H. Fund.

Thomas first launched his "Humble Pie" t-shirts in Bob's Stores last December just in time for the play-offs. The shirts, which humbly stated "Be Humble or Get Humbled," became a favorite of players and fans as it reminded them to keep perspective despite the team's record-breaking success.

The special 2008 training camp edition shirts were distributed by Adalius to his teammates when they returned to Foxborough this summer to prepare for the 2008 season.

"From an early age, my father taught me the importance of humility and selflessness. 'Be humble or get humbled' was his mantra and that has remained with me throughout my life," said Thomas.

"'Humble Pie' is a philosophy that has meaning on and off the field; we should all take pride in our work, find joy in helping others, and never let our accomplishments breed arrogance."

Through his S.L.A.S.H. Fund (Sportsman Lifting Academics and Sponsoring Hope), which was established in 2002, Thomas has wholeheartedly followed this mantra by his many contributions in Boston and previously in Baltimore.
