Weber Shandwick to assist lingerie company Eveden
Sep '08
Weber Shandwick announced it was selected as U.S. public relations agency of record for Eveden Inc, the U.S. division of Eveden Group, a U.K. based luxury lingerie and swimwear business.

Weber Shandwick has been selected to assist the company's public relations efforts through traditional and online media relations support.

The partnership will extend Eveden's global public relations efforts and complement the company's current relationship with SLAM, a division of Weber Shandwick, UK, which has handled a variety of projects including a viral marketing campaign for the company.

Weber Shandwick's consumer marketing practice in New York will conduct consumer and corporate media relations supporting Eveden's portfolio of brands including Fantasie, Freya, Fauve, Goddess and Elomi and the company's cup-sized swimwear lines under the Freya and Fantasie brands.

A leader in the full-busted and full-figured niche lingerie market, Eveden's products are engineered to provide a perfect fit for any size, while offering high fashion designs its customers crave.

"As the average bust size in the United States continues to grow, Eveden answers consumer demands with specifically designed products for a previously limited category," said Tracy Lewis, Eveden Group CEO.

"The Weber Shandwick team will help take our communication efforts to the next level by extending our 'fit message' and creating a greater awareness of our product offerings."

"Eveden is a great addition to our armoire of fashion brands," said Gail Heimann, president Weber Shandwick New York.

"The company is a true leader in the lingerie industry and has partnerships with leading luxury retailers which provide fashionable solutions to women. We look forward to working with them to increase their brand awareness with key audiences."
