Vendetta apparel launched October 10, 2008 with 19 varieties of t-shirts in nine unique designs. The t-shirts are currently being sold exclusively through www.vendetta-usa.com.

Vendetta is the vision come to life of Fulgencio, a young artist who envisioned the Vendetta name and concept in 2004 - as his way of vindicating himself and proving wrong all those who had discouraged him or didn't believe in him over the years. He began designing the tees in 2005, deriving inspiration from his newly adopted community in Harlem. Fulgencio spent painstaking hours in front of his computer screen "hand drawing" various designs for the Vendetta line.

Living in Harlem inspired him and empowered him with the knowledge that if there were going to be significant changes in the world - changing the things that cause social differences and inequalities - they must come from those who understand these differences and their causes. Vendetta is his response - mixing cultures, beliefs and lifestyles to obtain one movement.

"It allowed me to really get a feel for the concrete and see things how they really are without sugarcoating them, which I am eternally thankful for," says Fulgencio.

Fulgencio and his mother, Isabelle, launched FleurdeLys, LLC to enable Fulgencio to realize his dream. They share a unique bond that stretches well beyond their tie as mother and son. While Isabelle has always supported Fulgencio and his art, they also share the same birthday - 10/10 - their holding company (FleurdeLys) was incorporated officially on 10/10 - and now the Vendetta t-shirt line officially launches on 10/10 at www.vendetta-usa.com surely symbolic of their shared vision and dedication.

"Vendetta is more than another clothing brand, it's a journey of faith and dedication to the people, hence the Fleur de Lys as our logo. Our attitude: ethical standards should outweigh human greed, obsolete value in this time and age... Our motto: but, where's the real love?" says Isabelle Baland-Klimsa.

Vendetta clothing is American made, American sourced and 100% Fair Trade. Every Vendetta design is "hand drawn" by Fulgencio and created from his vision and inspiration with the hope of inspiring others.

The line launches with t-shirts in October 2008, with more designs and styles to be released on a continuous basis as inspiration strikes, independent of the Fashion calendar. Additionally Vendetta has long-term plans for growth in the variety of products offered, as well as the lines available, including a woman's line and "baby v".
