Commenting on the company's performance, Mr. DPS Kohli, Chairman, Koutons Retail India Ltd., said “We are extremely pleased to report an operationally good financial year. The PAT for the half year increased by 43% which is a very positive sign for the company and its patrons.

The half yearly sales is not indicator of the forthcoming revenues for the whole year as historically H2 sales are much higher comparable to H1 sales. The launch of Lesfemme (womens wear) and Koutons Jr. (kids wear) will continue to maintain the healthy growth of the company as a whole. By next month we are also ready to launch into men's footwear market which will further push our growth.”

He added by saying, “Koutons will continue to focus on maintaining and reinforcing the image of its existing exclusive brand outlets and also introduce its apparel to new geographical areas. Assessing fashion trends, making fashion forecasts and offering products to match the global fashion movements will keep Koutons at the leadership position for times to come. We will continue the mantra of Koutons Retail India Ltd. “fashion & quality at affordable prices”.
