Thai Nguyen Garment Joint Stock Company (TNG), the manufacturer of men, women and children's garments including jackets, pants, shorts, athletic wear and others, has reported to have earned revenue worth VND 267.4 billion (US$ 16.2 million) in the third quarter of this year. The figures represented a surge of 116.5 percent in comparison with the second quarter.

During these nine months, TNG fetched revenue worth VND 480.94 billion ($29.14 million), showcasing a rise of over 75 percent in comparison to similar period last year.

Explaining reason of such sky–rocketed growth in third quarter, an official from the Company said that each year, during the third quarter, TNG has been able to generate high revenue from the exports of garment products.

However, keeping in mind the results of global economic downturn, TNG recently reduced its revenue target from $44.45 million to $43.5 million.

Thai Nguyen Garment Joint Stock Company is a member of the Viet Nam Textile and Apparel Association (VITAS). With more than 3, 000 employees, 351 production lines, the production facilities span a total area of 110, 000 m2.

Due to superior product quality, better service level and competitive pricing, TNG has been able to create a niche for itself in countries like Japan, Canada, the US and EU.
