My Vintage Baby Inc, a public children's apparel company, announced an alliance with Cowgirl Couture - to market, sell and support the company's products complementary to MVBY's own designs.
According to CEO Jessica Wiswall, “Cowgirl Couture produces high fashion handcrafted necklaces that compliment the MVBY collections. Owner, Crissi Loch of Oklahoma creates each remarkable one of a kind piece by hand. Like MVBY's fall collection that includes sets for Mom, Crissi also creates necklaces for Mommy and Me.”
Our objectives are to expand our customers' product offerings without increasing costs or taxing cash flow. My Vintage Baby customers can now accessorize with us as well.
“Cowgirl Couture also offers `Mommy to be' necklaces which are a great compliment to MVBY's Funky Bump line of Maternity Tees,” stated Wiswall.
Cowgirl Couture necklaces can be customized to match MVBY collections, thus creating the opportunity for cross merchandising for both companies. MVBY will also make available Cowgirl Couture necklaces on their own direct to consumer website; an online debut for Cowgirl Couture as they currently do not have a website.
MVBY customers are very excited about this new alliance. Chanda Byrd, boutique owner of Twinkee's in Fort Worth, Texas, stated, "We have always admired My Vintage Baby clothing. At market this past week, we discovered the custom necklaces they now offer. The necklaces add that extra touch to the already exciting My Vintage Baby clothing."
This commission based alliance with Cowgirl Couture and the others recently announced leverage MVBY's fixed cost and complement the current MVBY product line and add non-seasonal revenue.
