Betsy dives in with team bikinis at NFL Hardlines Summit

This year's NFL Hardlines Summit is in for some hot fun in the sun thanks to B...for Betsy. Betsy will not only be showing her outrageously popular crystal emblazoned sport's fan accessories, but she is bringing along a taste of her newest product category: NFL licensed Baltimore Ravens Crystal Swimsuits that are sure to turn the heat up on the traditional NFL licensed product world.

The Ravens approached Betsy with a special request: Could she design crystal swimsuits that their Cheerleaders could wear in their 2010 calendar? "My immediate response was YES! I think that swimwear complements the rest of the line perfectly. I've worked with the Ravens Cheerleaders in the past and they are the perfect partner to launch this new category," says Betsy Stephens, President and CEO of B...for Betsy. Gabrielle Dow, Vice President of Marketing, Baltimore Ravens, couldn't agree more, "The Ravens are looking forward to working with B...for Betsy on this exciting new product line for our fans."

In fact, Betsy's fashion-forward approach to licensed product has been turning heads with consumers and retailers for almost three years now. "Women are the number one consumers of licensed team apparel and accessories; they buy for themselves as well as for their boyfriends, husbands and families, yet no one has been offering them something fun and sexy with which to express their team spirit!" concedes Betsy.

The proof that Betsy is on to something big lies in her 300 percent increase in sales over the past year alone. While the rest of the market is singing the blues, Betsy is crystallizing her way to the nostalgic and feminine hearts of sport's fans, one stadium at a time.

To date, Betsy's signature pieces have included such luxe items as cashmere scarves and suede bags with sparkling crystal logos of sports teams from the NFL, NBA, MLB and the Collegiate circuit, but her collection is branching out to include something unique and fun for all fashion-forward sports fans. "Going to a game and supporting your school or your favorite team will never go out of style. It's just one of those things that people set money aside for. It's the one American pastime that cuts across all demographics," states Betsy.

The sheer size of the sport's fan audience is propelling B...for Betsy into new ventures such as her launch into swimwear, but also the expansion of her line into all segments of the marketplace. Her collection will soon include accessories for the whole family, distributed at all tiers of retail, from good through better and best with each segment getting the attention it deserves.

For now, Betsy is focused on the NFL Hardlines Summit and is hoping to finally snag this year's 'Best New Product of the Year' award, an honor that B...for Betsy came close to winning last year with her Crystal Doggie Tees. The Summit looks for products that take NFL licensing to new audiences and qualitative levels; something that an expanded and exciting product range of ultra hot Baltimore Ravens Crystal Swimsuits is sure to secure.
