The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission and the Pumpkin Patch Company jointly announced on April 30, 2009, the decision to voluntary recall Pumpkin Patch Hooded raincoat for girls, which have been made in China.
The recalled Pumpkin Patch raincoat for girls is an under jacket style, in red, with a hat cord, The raincoats were sold in Pumpkin Patch stores in the United States from July 2008 ~ February 2009, at US $50 per piece.
The number of recalled products is about 800. The reason for the recall is that the raincoat cord could cause strangulation risks of children's neck. Up to now, Pumpkin Patch has not received any reports of incidents.
