Perry Ellis International announced the grand opening of its first Cubavera brand retail store in the United States. Located in the international terminal of Miami International Airport between concourses H and J, the store will invite travelers from around the world to sample the Cubavera lifestyle when visiting this gateway city.

“Miami's fusion of cultures and influences makes it the ideal location for the first Cubavera domestic retail store,” remarked Gary Rubin, President of Retail for Perry Ellis International. “We look forward to expanding brand recognition via this highly visible venue as well as providing visitors with a one-stop destination for apparel, accessories and gifts with Latin flavor.”

The 900-square-foot store features a complete lifestyle format reflective of the unique Cubavera point of view. The brand's close ties to Latin music and culture are evident in all aspects of the store's environment, including store visuals, product merchandising and a selection of the best Latin lounge music, effectively transporting weary travelers to a place filled with sol, ritmo y alegría.
