Comparatively, countries like Sri Lanka, India, Pakistan, and Vietnam have a lesser lead time of 60-90 days.

These retail giants look for quickness in delivery when the product can be put in the store rack, while it is in demand among the consumers.
To sustain in the competitive free trade apparel market and at same time face the financial 'Tsunami' in the world market; price and speed delivery could be vital issue for ready-made garment industry of Bangladesh.
