Lyons will continue to develop XGO for govt & military

Longworth Industries, parent company of XGO and Polarmax, is pleased to announce the hiring of Sherry Lyons as Director of Global Business Development for Government and Military.
In her new position, Ms. Lyons will continue to develop XGO as a primary and preferred brand of base layers for the US government and military. She will leverage her 20 years of sales, marketing, operations skills to execute new programs and products to achieve corporate objectives for the XGO brand.
Randy Black, President of Longworth said, “Ms. Lyons is a solution-oriented sales and marketing professional with broad based experience. She will bring solid expertise to our company and the specifically the XGO brand by providing independent, hands on leadership to facilitate sales, sales management, and team building.”
“I'm very excited to join Longworth's XGO Team. The XGO brand is a key player with military audiences and I look forward to executing new programs and creating products that help achieve our product performance and corporate objectives,” said Ms Lyons. “I look forward to helping build our business and reach so that every military person has access to “The First Layer of Defense.”
Previous to Longworth, Ms. Lyons was COO at AL Employment. She has also held posts as Director of Corporate Human Resources for Parisian, Managing Director for Right Management Consultants, and Regional Vice President for ADECCO. A 1986 graduate of Auburn University, Ms Lyons is looking forward to relocating to the sandhills of North Carolina to begin her new position.
Based in West End, North Carolina, Longworth industries manufactures and markets Polarmax and XGO technical base-layer apparel. Longworth Industries is the exclusive manufacturer and retail distributor for Opedix. Longworth Industries products are 100% made in the U.S.A.
