Kim & Debbie's expertise to be great fit for Wet Seal

The Wet Seal Inc, a leading specialty retailer to young women, reported the appointments of Kim Bajrech and Debbie Shinn to the Wet Seal division merchandising team. Both Ms. Bajrech and Ms. Shinn have joined the organization in July.

Ms. Bsajrech rejoined the organization as the Vice President-Divisional Merchandising Manager of Apparel, and Debbie Shinn has joined the organization as the Vice President-Divisional Merchandising Manager of Accessories and Ready-to-Wear. Both are reporting to Maria Comfort, President and Chief Merchandise Officer for the Wet Seal division.

Ms. Bajrech was most recently the Creative Director at PJ Salvage. PJ Salvage was founded in 1996 and is one of the world's best known pajama companies. Prior to PJ Salvage, Ms. Bajrech worked at Eight Sixty Design, a leading women's fashion line. Ms. Bajrech was also with The Wet Seal, Inc. from 1990 to 2002 as a Vice President-Divisional Merchandising Manager.

Ms. Shinn was most recently the Vice President-Divisional Merchandising Manager for Junior Sportswear for Kohl's, a national department store chain. Prior to Kohl's, Ms. Shinn was the Vice President and National Sales Manager at Roxy, a division of Quiksilver. In addition, Ms. Shinn served in several merchandising roles at Pacific Sunwear, a national teen retailer, from 1998 to 2006.

Ms. Comfort commented that, "Both Kim and Debbie's background and expertise will be a great fit for Wet Seal. They are very well respected in the industry and both of them bring more than 20 years of experience to our team. We are very excited to welcome them to Wet Seal."
