Textile and garment industry owners from the Ad Dulayi Industrial Park met the Director General of Jordanian Customs, Ghaleb Sarayreh and appraised him about the main obstacles which they are facing in clearing goods from the customs.
The Director General promised to streamline customs procedures by reducing time and efforts needed to get the goods cleared.
Exports from the industrial park in the first seven months of 2009 touched JD89 million against JD81 million in the same period of the previous year, which is considered very good, at a time when recessionary trends are blowing across the globe.
