Toni D. Foster, Owner of Critique' Boutique, Inc. has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in online retail.
In 2007, Ms. Foster established Critique' Virtual Boutique, an online boutique that specializes in designer apparel and accessories for women. She is responsible for managing operations, supervising her daughters who assist her with administration and online sales, and exhibiting at conferences, women's events and seminars. Prior to going into business for herself, Ms. Foster served as an international labor lobbyist for the United Food and Commercial Workers International Union. She considers the establishment of her online boutique as a homecoming of sorts, having first begun her career in the fashion industry as an amateur model. She attributes her success to working hard and taking things one step at a time.
Ms. Foster completed coursework in urban planning, advertising, and political science at the University of the District of Columbia and Prince George County Community College. Her professional affiliations include the Greater Washington Women's Network, the National Association of Professional Women, the National Association of Professional & Executive Women, the eWomenNetwork, and the Circle of Champions, an affiliate of Women In Business. She gives generously to Suited For Change and Give Kids The World Foundation. In five years, Ms. Foster hopes to have one of the top boutiques in the area and establish a brick and mortar business catering to personal services by appointment only.
