Modeste Ltd to set up garment plant at CEPZ

Modeste limited, one of the local manufacturing companies, is set to establish a garment factory at Chittagong Export Processing Zone (CEPZ) at an estimated cost of US $5 million.

For this, an agreement was signed between the Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority (Bepza) and Modeste Limited, at the Bepza office.

Bepza Member (engineering) Mr. M. Mahbubul Alam and Mr. Muhmud Ali, Managing Director of Medeste Limited signed the agreement.

Modeste Limited is completely a locally owned firm that would produce garment items for international markets, offering employment to about 969 workers.
