Id festival revives hopes among clothing sector

The clothing manufacturing sector, which has been going through one of the worst periods in the last few years, is counting on the up coming Id festival and reopening of schools, to take it out of this phase.

Manufacturers as well as traders are euphoric about both the events as they feel; these will help bring about a surge in sales after having witnessed a slowdown in garment sales in the last few months.

Most of the garment manufacturing units have geared up their production in anticipation of larger number of orders from the traders in the coming days, since the retailers have managed to reduce their inventory with big promotional offers.

Exporters are also keeping their fingers crossed and also expect the situation to turn around for the better, as three major European countries have reported a economic growth in the second quarter of 2009.
