Sewing thread most important raw material of garment stitching

Cloth making is the last part of the complicated process by which a two dimensional fabric is transformed into three-dimensional garments by sewing them together. Sewing is the most important part in the process of garment making. If not sewn properly, the garment will not have proper appeal.

Sewing threads are manufactured by either natural or manmade fibres in staple or filament form. These threads are generally used in upholstery, garments, and geotextiles to sew different pieces of clothing. Different kind of sewing threads are made based on their application.

To achieve good performance, the thread must be selected according to the fabric, and the end use of the material.
