The Canadian Department of Health and Quiksilver Inc. jointly announced a voluntary recall of girl's cotton hoodies under the brand name of "Very Nice", which was manufactured in China.
The total number of recalled pieces total to 495 units. Reasons for this recall are that the, waist cords can easily get hooked to an outside object, which causes danger of child being trapped.
To this end, the Canadian Department of Health has advised consumers to draw out waist cord immediately so as to eliminate the danger, or contact the retail store or contact Quiksilver to return the Hoodies and ask for full refund.
Up to now, the Canadian Department of Health and Quiksilver Company have not received report of any untoward incident related to the hoodie.
Recently in August, the US Consumer Product Safety Commission had ordered recall of about 500 Roxy Girl "Very Nice" Cotton hoodies imported from China by Quiksilver Inc.
