Jaeger joins with Begg Scotland to present a stunning, exclusive collection of printed scarves and stoles, in soft silk chiffon and wonderfully delicate 100% cashmere.
Belinda Earl, Jaeger's Group Chief Executive, comments: "We are delighted to be collaborating exclusively with Begg of Scotland; the quality, make and beauty of their products are second-to-none. With both Jaeger and Begg being quintessential heritage British brands, this project is a meeting of great talent and expertise."
Inspired by the windswept and atmospheric coastline of Scottish Ayshire, the collection includes delicate scrolling paisleys of seashell shapes; an abstract animal print inspired by tidal flats, sand-patterns and shadow, printed onto the lightest diaphanous cashmere; and art-inspired 'flyaway' silk chiffon squares, created from a specially commissioned, original still-life painting and printed in dreamy water-colour washes.
This beautiful collection celebrates the expertise of two of the finest Great British heritage brands, renowned for time-honoured craftsmanship and design expertise, blending vintage and modern together in a harmonious mix of style and quality.
The collection is available from November 2009. Jaeger and Begg Scotland: the perfect marriage of innovative design and luxurious fabrics.
