Members of Ducks Unlimited have a new online store to purchase the organization's branded merchandise and support its conservation mission through a new licensing agreement with Wisconsin-based Artisans, Inc.

A specialty-clothing manufacturer, Artisans launched Shop Ducks to offer easy, one-stop access for the more than 700,000 Ducks Unlimited members in North America to buy branded apparel and accessories. A portion of the sales goes to support wetlands conservation, which has been the mission of Ducks Unlimited since 1937.

The online store provides the broadest selection of Ducks Unlimited merchandise available. It carries casual, comfortable clothing for the entire family's outdoor lifestyle, including tee shirts, sweatshirts, hats, and gift items.

"Launching shop.ducks.org allowed us to expand our apparel program with Artisans and maximize its capabilities," according to Jim Alexander, director of licensing for Ducks Unlimited. "In order to meet the large demand for DU branded apparel, we decided to leverage the power of the DU brand with Artisan's expertise and create a destination e-commerce website for DU branded apparel." Ducks Unlimited has worked with Artisans since 2007.

Artisans has teamed up with Minneapolis-based Irish Titan, an online strategy and e-Commerce firm, to create an easy-to-use Shop.Ducks.org web site. Online buyers can zoom in to see product details and create wish lists for gift giving. Irish Titan will help drive revenues for Artisans and conservation funds for Ducks Unlimited through social marketing opportunities, such as Facebook, that encourage frequent visits to the new web site.

"We believe the new site conveys the style and quality that members have come to expect from Ducks Unlimited," said Danny Robertson, president, Artisans. "With constant product updates to the web site, members will have many new opportunities to continue showing their loyalty to the brand and help conserve wetlands."

Ducks Unlimited, is the world's largest non-profit organization dedicated to conserving North America's continually disappearing waterfowl habitats. Established in 1937, Ducks Unlimited has conserved nearly 13 million acres thanks to contributions from more than a million supporters across the continent. Guided by science and dedicated to program efficiency, Ducks Unlimited works toward the vision of wetlands sufficient to fill the skies with waterfowl today, tomorrow, and forever.

Artisans, Inc. is a leading brand of upscale sportswear and ready-to-wear casual apparel that features custom designs, laser appliques, embroideries, digital prints, and screen-printed artwork. It has been a privately held, family business since 1963.
