 Collage completes three years of
bringing the best of fashion to Bangalore by bringing to you one of the most
celebrated fashion designers in the country – Wendell Rodricks.
The designer’s shop in shop at Collage will bring forth an assortment of his
famed resort wear, beautiful eco friendly cottons and his latest Spring Summer
2010. The place was abuzz as customers and admirers welcomed the beautiful
addition to Collage over wine and cheese and interacted with Wendell.
Talking about his new initiative Wendell Rodricks said, “I am happy to bring to
Collage, Bangalore our favourite designs. There is my white range, a collection
of Ecofriendly garments from the celebrated Eco Goa room in Goa, an assortment
of styles from the Lakme Fashion Week Bossa Nova collection and my own personal
specials We look forward to a truly festive season at Collage and are delighted
with this large shop-in-shop space which we hope Bangaloreans will make a
special place in their fashionable lives too.”
Commenting on the same Priya Vasudevan, Owner, Collage said, “On our 3rd
anniversary, having Wendell at Collage, Bangalore couldn't be a better way to
celebrate!! We have constantly had customers asking as to why we have not
stocked him, and finally it seems that it has happened!! His clothes are about
beautiful silhouettes, colours and natural fabrics. Wearing them is adopting a
bit of his philosophy, which to me is straight forward elegance of what you see
is definitely what you get with a generous measure of style & sensuality in
drapes thrown in.”
Wendell Rodricks is not just a great fashion designer, he is the jack of all
trades and master of many. He designs using natural Indian fabrics, cut in a
linear line and emphasizing on concrete themes and experimental colour
