Walmart is rolling out the "pink" today for approximately 365 kids from Boys & Girls Clubs of America at a series of special viewing parties celebrating the national release of Disney's The Princess and the Frog. Little girls will enjoy a fairytale evening that includes making a grand entrance on a pink carpet at the event and donning the latest Disney Princess looks from Walmart.
Private parties and film screenings are taking place in Atlanta, Ga., Miami, Fla., Charlotte, N.C., Tampa, Fla., and Birmingham, Ala. A special pre-opening viewing was held in New Orleans, LA., the setting for the movie, on Wednesday. The festivities will also include music from the film, photo opportunities with character cut-outs, and special princess activities. The Princess and the Frog introduces the first new Disney princess in a decade.
