DOTTI zooms from 10 to 100 outlets in five years

Fashion brand, Dotti, marks a major milestone in its short history with the Just Group with the opening of its 100th store on the 12 December 2009.
The 100th store is located at Watergardens Town Centre, a shopping mall in Melbourne's western suburb of Taylor's Lakes. Dotti had only ten stores when it was acquired by the Just Group in 2004.
Just Group Managing Director, Jason Murray, said that Dotti was one of the group's great success stories. “To go from ten to 100 stores in five years is, by any measure, a remarkable success story in the highly competitive Australasian retail fashion market.
“When we acquired the brand in 2004 we believed it had great potential but I admit that the growth has exceeded our expectations. We have invested enormous time and money into making Dotti a great brand across Australia and New Zealand. The ranges, the stores, the teams and its sales and profit performance are amongst the best in the market.” said Mr Murray.
“I am also delighted to announce that the Dotti range is now available in the David Jones Bourke Street, Melbourne department store. This is further confirmation of the wide appeal of the brand.
“Just Group has a strong track record of acquiring, adapting and expanding fashion brands. There is no better illustration of this than the Dotti story,” said Mr Murray.
Just Group is a wholly owned subsidiary of Premier Investments Limited. Just has over 920 stores and its brands are Just Jeans, Jay Jays, Portmans, Jacquie E, Dotti, Peter Alexander and Smiggle.
