Winner Medical Group Inc a leading manufacturer and exporter of medical, wound care and home care products in China, announced that it has opened its first three PurCotton pilot chain stores in Shenzhen, Guangdong province, China on December 31, 2009. At the same time, its subsidiary Winner Industries (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd has established a wholly-owned subsidiary, Shenzhen PurCotton Technology Co., Ltd. to develop sales channels in the China marketplace, and sell its PurCotton branded products.

The three chain stores are located in densely populated commercial areas with high visibility and significant foot traffic. Each store contains a broad range of PurCotton branded personal products and healthcare supplies, which include PurCotton Sports bandages, Cosmetic products, baby diapers, sanitary pads, baby wears, wipes, women's underwear, bed sheets, curtains, pillows and related products. The concept stores specifically focus on offering customers a broad range of disposable, daily use products which will simplify customer's shopping experience. All of the products are made by 100% natural cotton.

PurCotton is a revolutionary nonwoven fabric made with 100% natural cotton products and has many advantages over both woven cotton and synthetic nonwoven fabric. It is of high quality, and is safe, natural, biodegradable, sustainable and eco-friendly, which makes it an ideal material for medical and health care products, as well as for daily home care products.

The objective of PurCotton is to provide customers with medical grade 100% cotton products which are healthy, comfortable, and eco-friendly. PurCotton products will improve consumers' living standards, since these products are green, additives-free and non-allergenic. For instance, the sterilized feminine products and baby diapers are of a higher quality and are safer for consumers than woven and synthetic alternatives, some products will include anti-bacteria nano material. At the same time, PurCotton was produced in clean environmental conditions and it is bio-degradable, which is in line with Winner's commitment to promote environmental protection and sustainable development in it manufacturing processes.

Mr. Jianquan Li, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Winner Medical, commented, "We are excited to announce the opening of the three pilot chain stores to significantly grow our domestic China business with PurCotton branded products. This is our initial trial step into the retail consumer personal products and healthcare supplier markets in China. This is an exciting and important milestone for Winner and we will exercise financial prudence in order to mitigate investment risk by opening up additional stores step by step in order to meet rising consumer demand for our PurCotton products. We will continue to develop the market demand for PurCotton while expanding our production accordingly, and we believe PurCotton will give Winner Medical a strong competitive edge in the global marketplace."
