Garments and knitwear manufacturers and exporters of Bangladesh received $107.96 million worth of export orders including an immediate confirmed order of $26.81 million, in the three-day Men's Apparel Guild in California (MAGIC) show organized in Las Vegas, USA.
MAGIC is North America's largest trade show that is conducted two times a year, in the months of February and August.
Around 23 Bangladeshi garment entrepreneurs took part in this show, which had been supervised by Export Promotion Bureau.
Bangladesh's consul general in Los Angeles paid a visit to all the 23 Bangladeshi stalls in the show and discussed the means for larger participation of Bangladeshi entrepreneurs in next MAGIC show.
