True Religion Apparel, Inc. announced the opening of a new branded retail store at Broadway Plaza in Walnut Creek, California. Located at 1275 Broadway Plaza, the 1,476 square-foot branded retail store will offer shoppers the entire True Religion collection for men, women and kids, including its signature jean styles, its expanding denim, sportswear and handbag collection, and a full range of licensed merchandise.

Located in the heart of the affluent community of Walnut Creek, just 20 miles east of San Francisco, Broadway Plaza is a 700,000 square foot upscale, open-air shopping destination for the entire East Bay. With over 85 specialty retailers including Nordstrom, Coach, Juicy Couture, Kate Spade, Betsey Johnson and Lacoste, Broadway Plaza maintains the strongest collection of upscale retail brands in the East Bay. In 2008, Broadway Plaza generated sales per square foot of approximately $700.

"We are excited to join Broadway Plaza's impressive collection of premium retail brands," said Jeffrey Lubell, chairman, chief executive officer and chief merchant of True Religion Apparel, Inc. "With its location at the heart of the East Bay, Broadway Plaza caters to an upscale, fashion-forward, highly educated consumer. We are confident that True Religion's collection of premium jeans, sportswear and accessories will resonate with these shoppers."

"The East Bay of San Francisco is a rapidly-growing, highly affluent region of Northern California," said Michael Buckley, president of True Religion Apparel, Inc. "It is estimated that Broadway Plaza is located within 10 miles of over 450,000 residents earning average annual household incomes in excess of $118,000. We believe the solid demographics of the surrounding area will contribute to the success of our Broadway Plaza location."
