New York based HMX Group will now oversee all Bobby Jones brand operations, with a new UK office based in Knutsford, Cheshire established to handle European sales, customer liaisons and sales order management for the region.

Orders already in place for 2010 will be delivered as planned, following the news that Bobby Jones Lifestyle Ltd (previously owned by Woodford Global PLC) has now ceased trading.

HMX Group is America's leading tailored clothing company with an enviable portfolio of brands, both owned and licensed. The Group has substantial financial investment and is committed to developing the Bobby Jones brand internationally with a real focus on Europe.

2010 is set to be a thrilling year for the Bobby Jones brand, who celebrate the 80th anniversary of the prestigious Grand Slam achieved by Bobby Jones, the legend after whom the company was named and the only player to ever achieve this feat of sporting greatness.

Jones is widely regarded as the greatest amateur golfer of all time and his legacy continues to be felt across the sporting world including the Old Course at St Andrews, where the 2010 Open will be held. To celebrate Jones's significant contribution to the game and to St Andrews, a special 10th Hole Collection, named after the stunning hole on the Old Course that bears the Bobby Jones name, is available exclusively from the Old Course Shop in St Andrews.

The pinnacle event of the 2010 calendar will see the 38th Ryder Cup held at Celtic Manor in September, where as an official Ryder Cup licensee Bobby Jones will supply the historic tournament with exclusive crested merchandise.

The Bobby Jones apparel collection is the ultimate in prestige, style and performance. A sumptuous collection tailored to exacting quality standards, using only the finest fabrics creating inspirational designs for the discerning fashionista, both on and off the course.
