The afternoon session will open with Linda Bentley, national account manager, mail order for DB Apparel UK who will examine 'Lingerie fashion versus function' and consider trends, influences and the role of the consumer.
In 'Tackling the technologies', Dr Jochen Balzulat, director 3D body scanning with Assyst Bullmer's bodyscanning technology partner, Human Solutions and his colleague Alison Dennison, CAD application consultant will give an overview of what technologies are available to help researchers, designers, pattern cutters/graders and retailers achieve their design and fit goals. Finally Irene Dmyterko, technical and sourcing manager, Figleaves.com will show how it has helped its internet customers buy the right product in its presentation 'Challenges of selling on-line'.
The day will conclude with an open discussion featuring a special guest panel from some of the lingerie and swimwear sectors most influential and knowledgeable names including Di Murini, George, Lingerie Buyer, M&S and Tesco.
