Ministry of Commerce and Industry has announced the inclusion of knitwear garments under 2% Market Linked Focus Product Scheme (MLFPS) for the exports made to USA and EU Countries for the period of six months from 1st April 2010 to 30th September 2010.
Shri.A.Sakthivel, President welcomed the measure and said that the announcement has come at a time when the rupee is getting appreciated against foreign currencies and added that the measure will help to increase the competitiveness of knitwear products in these markets.
