Trenholm Plaza welcomes new retailers

Edens & Avant has announced the recent additions of several new retailers that join the existing mix of boutique, health and lifestyle offerings available at Trenholm Plaza. The Pilates Studio, B.E.E. Maternal and the Bumble Boutique have all recently opened as part of Trenholm Plaza's final redevelopment phase.

"With the addition of these unique, niche retailers to Trenholm Plaza, we further our goal of creating a comprehensive neighborhood center," said Edens & Avant Managing Director Lyle Darnall. "Retailers of this caliber enhance the quality of life for local residents and they have truly helped redefine one of Columbia's most popular shopping destinations."

Trenholm Plaza's most recent openings include:

The Pilates Studio, offering comprehensive "New York" style Pilates designed to increase core strength, flexibility, and awareness in the support of efficient, graceful movement. With its second location in the Midlands, owner Gary Davis says his studio offers coed classes and personal training sessions that appeal to everyone from the "couch potato to the elite athlete."

B.E.E. Maternal, a locally owned boutique that specializes in elegant and affordable casual, business, and evening wear along with lingerie and other necessities for the expectant mother.

Opening in conjunction with B.E.E. Maternal is Bumble Boutique, a children's clothing store specializing in whimsical, traditional, and stylish clothing for newborns through early teens.

"With nearly 95 percent leased space at this point, the final phase of Trenholm Plaza's redevelopment is nearing completion," said Darnall. "In the coming weeks, we look forward to announcing several more niche retailers that will finalize the remodeling of a vital retail center that has been an integral part of the Forest Acres community for the last 50 years."
