AAFA promotes Nate Herman as VP for International Trade

The American Apparel & Footwear Association (AAFA) today announced the promotion of Nate Herman to Vice President for International Trade. Herman most recently served as Senior Director for International Trade.
“The U.S. apparel and footwear industry has been well served through Nate's diligent work on Capitol Hill and before the administration,” said AAFA President and CEO Kevin M. Burke. “The industry only stands to further benefit from Nate's continued expert leadership in his new role as Vice President for International Trade.”
Along with his new responsibility of overseeing AAFA's international trade lobbying strategy, Herman will continue to serve as a staff liaison for several of AAFA's committees, including the Social Responsibility Committee and Footwear Division.
Prior to joining AAFA in the fall of 2001, Herman served six years at the International Trade Administration, U.S. Department of Commerce. He holds a Master's degree in Public and International Affairs from the University of Pittsburgh. He also holds a Bachelor's degree in International Relations and Economics from the University of Delaware.
