New additions to bolster Deckers marketing & IT functions

Deckers Outdoor Corporation announced two new key additions to their Executive team, Jessica Buttimer, VP of Marketing, reporting to Angel Martinez, Chairman & CEO, and Yul Vanek, VP of Information Technology, reporting to Zohar Ziv, COO.
Jessica has 15 years of broad based marketing experience. In her last assignment as Global General Manager of Green Works at The Clorox Co., she founded and led the entire Green Works initiative from its inception to now being the number one brand in natural cleaning. Prior to working at The Clorox Company, Jessica worked at Procter & Gamble, Price Waterhouse and National Economic Research Associates. Jessica has her MBA from Cornell University. She was recently honored as one of Fast Company's Top 100 Most Creative People (May 2009), Ad Age's, "Women to Watch 2009" (August 2009), as well as BrandWeek Marketer of the Year (September, 2009).
Since August 2008, Yul provided strategic and tactical advisory services to multi-billion dollar wholesale and retail consumer products brands, helping deliver on key technology investments while also improving the effectiveness of their IT organizations. Prior to that, he spent a combined 11 years leading the IT teams at Oakley (now part of Luxottica Group), K-Swiss, and Charlotte Russe delivering global manufacturing, wholesale, and retail systems. Yul began his career with 5 years at Andersen Consulting (now Accenture), leaving as a Technology Manager in their High Tech & Electronics practice. He has a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from UCLA.
