International Apparel Federation (IAF) will host its 26th World Apparel Convention in Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center on October 5-7, 2010.

In the ongoing revival of global economy, the convention aims to help participants identify winning strategies and ideas for production, sourcing and distribution of fashion. It gathers fashion people from all over the world to share knowledge on valuable and meaningful topics including sourcing, marketing and branding, environmental and social responsibility, technology, innovative design and many more.

Co-organized with Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd, the convention provides a high quality of the program, accommodation and rich surroundings in culture. On the two convention days, October 6th and 7th, partners of the delegates will go on a fascinating sightseeing tour through Hong Kong. They also take part in the social functions during the evenings.

Steve Jesseph, the President and CEO of Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production (WRAP) plans to attend the convention. Jesseph also serves as Chair of the IAF's CSR Committee. The goal of this committee is to share and promote principles and rules to assure ethical and environmental business standards.

The International Apparel Federation (IAF) is a politically neutral global association, open to entrepreneurs and executives from the apparel chain worldwide. Its membership includes national clothing associations and companies whose core business is sourcing, designing, development, manufacturing, distribution, and retailing of apparel products.
