Favourable economic conditions beneficial for exporters – Sankaya

After being unanimously re-elected as the Chairman of the Uludag Textile and Apparel Exporters' Association (UHKIB), Senol Sankaya, CEO of Turkish knit apparel specialist, Yesim Tekstil, has urged Turkish exporters to make the most of the improving economic conditions.

He is the Chairman of UHKIB since 2006, and after being re-elected as UHKIB's Chairman, he was also elected as the Coordinating Chairman of Uludag Exporters' Association (UIB).

The Uludag Textile and Apparel Exporters' Association (UHKIB) includes five Turkish associations, the Automotive Industry Exporters' Association, the Textile Exporters' Association, the Textile and Apparel Exporters' Association, the Fruit and Vegetable Products Exporters' Association and the Association of Exporters of Fresh Fruits and Vegetables.

Sankaya stated that, on account of the significance, the Textile and Apparel industry of the country has offered to fashion and design, of which the country has received great advantage in Europe, after the crisis, which has to be now availed, so as to offer the Turkish textile industry its deserving place, in the world.
